Lots of cool places to visit while in California waiting to ‘clear out my desk’; El Mirage, a dry lake bed in California’s high desert is a beautiful and rather unique location particularly if you need to drive a car as fast as it will go! Great backdrop for some more answers to your questions…
1, Domenica Grace asked:
What sort of music do you have playing in the workshop when you’re working?
2, Jazz Madden asked:
Are there any cars you would love to restore or repair that are not cost effective or very difficult to get hold of?
3, Barbara Ampting asked:
I’ve never had any form of education in the field of car restoring or building, yet I did love watching wheeler dealers. It was mainly because you made it sound understandable, without treating the viewer like an absolute idiot.
Personally, I think that’s why it’s so appealing to many viewers, basically everyone can watch and find something that’s interesting. Maybe this is something to consider? Continue to make a car show that’s appealing to the (bigger) audience, so we can all learn more about car restorations and rebuilding?
4, Jeff Kittell asked:
I am 6’1″, but as you are much taller than me, and lifts generally only lift to 6 ft. How often do you hit your head on the underside of cars you are working on? Have you ever knocked yourself dizzy?
5, Greg Beaulieu asked:
I finally got to watch what I believe is your last episode, the 1916 Cadillac. It seemed rather odd to me and while the mechanical work was interesting as usual the beginning and especially the abrupt ending was unusual. Any insight as to how that all played out?
